Our primary goal is to drive the development of sustainable, integrated, safe, innovative and efficient mobility, accessible to the greatest number of people. To achieve this goal, we have drawn up strategic guidelines, centred around innovation, sustainability and the simplification of everyday life, that will drive our Group’s future growth and the creation of value for all our stakeholders.
In these efforts we are proud to have in our Group a company like emovis, which is a division of the Abertis Mobility Services by our subsidiary Abertis and a leader in toll-based mobility solutions. emovis has been awarded a contract from Highways England to manage UK enforcement services at Dartford Crossing. The 10-and-a-half-year deal includes an 18-month transition period, followed by a 7 year initial term, with the opportunity to extend up to a further 2 years. The Dartford-Thurrock River Crossing is a critical part of the strategic road network in the South East of England linking the M25 across the Thames. The Free Flow charging scheme provides smooth crossings for an average of 165,000 vehicles daily.
This award represents the largest enforcement services management contract in the UK. Under this contract, emovis will continue to manage the entire end to end enforcement process covering PCN issuing, representation handling, PCN payment handling and customer queries and will provide a call centre and back-office support teams. emovis has been successfully providing enforcement services to their clients around the globe for many years and they have achieved significant toll payment compliance levels as a result.
As a global leader in toll based-mobility solutions, emovis has over 700 employees in 6 countries and operates some of the world’s largest electronic toll infrastructures in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. emovis is part of Abertis Mobility Services, which is the Abertis Group’s competence center of electronic toll collection free flow.
