Our Asset Company Aeroporti di Roma, through its subsidiary ADR Mobility, has recently introduced a new fleet of E-Shuttles, eleven 100% electric shuttles powered by renewable energy. These shuttles connect terminals and parking lots at Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, allowing passengers and airport operators to move quickly, quietly, and sustainably.

Moreover, each stop in Fiumicino has been equipped with new graphical displays with a next e-bus arrival countdown, each e-bus is localized by a centralized control system and a next stop information is also running.

They have chosen the 12-meter-long "BYD K9 e-bus," the most registered e-bus in Europe. The new green electric shuttles connect the terminals with the parking lots and are fully powered by electricity produced from renewable sources, using six 240 kW DC superchargers.

This new introduction is one of the innovative actions and projects of our sustainable development strategy, aiming to achieve zero emissions by 2030 (NetZero30), on the path towards decarbonization.
