Tell us about your journey

"Where are you from?", such a simple question but one that has always had a bigger story behind it for me. I was born in Bologna and, due to the nature of my parents' job, we found ourselves moving to Tunis, when I was just a few months old. This was my starting point for a long journey of living and studying abroad for over 17 years. Having spent 4 years in Congo, 3 in Nigeria, 1 in Iran, 5 in Egypt, and 1 in Spain, I believe that these experiences have moulded me into the person I am today.

After completing my university studies in Turin and Trondheim in Norway, I began my career in 2011 at General Electric, an American multinational company. I took part in a leadership programme where I had the opportunity to rotate roles and locations every 6 months (in Florence, Belfast, and Houston), serving as an IT business partner to support various business functions (engineering, sales, supply chain management).

Tell us about your journey

London by birth, Italian by blood, Amsterdam by heart. These are the places in which I was born, raised and in which I’ve had the luck to live for long enough to really feel at home there. I am honored to have best friends all over the world and to have had the opportunity to experiment with different cultures and lifestyles. This really transformed me and has a huge impact on how I look at things. Workwise as well, I have worked across several industries and in very diverse working environments.

Tell us about your journey

I am passionate about innovation and transformation. I like to experiment, and I am a curious learner. I have lived and studied in different countries across three continents, and I have over twenty years of experience in a variety of corporate roles, leading complex projects and diverse teams.

What does your work bring you?

I like to make things happen, being part of a team and “giving back” to junior colleagues what I have learned, having an impact on their growth path by giving directions and creating meaning.

I’ve joined the Group back in 2012 in Brazil, more precisely in Arteris which years later would become one of our current subsidiaries. Arteris is one of the largest toll road companies in terms of kilometers managed in the Brazilian market and was bought by Abertis in 2015.
After the acquisition, Arteris was no longer listed on the stock exchange and the Investor Relations department of Abertis invited me to join their team in Spain.

I was born in Brazil, I studied in the United States, and lived in many different countries such as Scotland and Italy. I have been lucky to work with different cultures from all over the world, such as the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North, and Latin America, and this enriched me in my personal and professional life. Each culture has taught me something different that has helped shape the person that I am today. I started my career in a very large company with complex processes. Then I created my own startup that taught me the importance of working fast.

I studied communication at La Sapienza University in Rome, when the first degree course was created in Italy. After graduating, I immediately started working in the very sector I had studied for, with an internship in ADR's External Relations Department. I spent more than 10 years at Aeroporti, growing professionally in different roles until I became Head of Press Office and Social & Web Manager.

Tell us about your journey:

I have had 22 years’ experience in Human Resources in various sectors. I have carried out the role of people advocate & servant, often donning a uniform in order to get a real taste of what it means to work on the front line: I’ve been a hotel maid, an onboard hostess, a telecommunications engineer, and an airport information assistant. Each of these hands-on experiences has enabled me to get an insight into people’s working lives and exchange a range of emotions.
