CET 11.02 Rome, 28 September 2023 - Mundys’s ongoing commitment to tax transparency has resulted in receipt of a Fair Tax Mark from the Fair Tax Foundation for the second year running. This award from the independent, UK-based not-for-profit organization, which encourages international companies to adopt a fair and transparent approach to taxation, means that the infrastructure and mobility Group is once again this year the only Italian firm to be accredited. Accreditation is further confirmation of Mundys’s commitment to sustainability and transparency, including with regard to taxation. In 2023, the infrastructure and mobility company published the second edition of its Tax Transparency Report, setting out the tax contributions of all the asset companies in the jurisdictions in which we operate (based on Total Tax Contribution methodology) and providing information on taxes paid and those withheld and passed on to the various tax authorities. "Award of the Fair Tax Mark, together with the recently published second edition of our Tax Transparency Report, demonstrate Mundys’s determination to achieve our TAX/ESG goals. This result reflects the major improvement in the information made available to our stakeholders, thanks to collaboration with Group companies and the tax authorities in the countries in which Mundys operates,” said Giuseppe Natali, the infrastructure and mobilty company’s Head of Tax.
